Shamenomore, welcome to the SSC!  One of the best things about this site is that many of us have experienced what you are going through.  Non-smokers are excited when we first quit, but after a week or two it gets old to them.  Yet we are still excited.  Don't be too hard on your husband and others if they don't throw parades for you every day.  Just stop here as we love to celebrate each other's milestones, whether it be 3 days or 3 years!
You've been given some great advice!  Just remember this quit is all about you!  Treat yourself like royalty!  Set up a reward system so you can reprogram your brain to allow other joys instead of smoking.  Set up your quit meter and add it to your posts from "my profile" so you can see you numbers add up.  We're all rooting for your success!

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 8/20/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 410
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 16,400
Amount Saved: $4,100.00
Life Gained:
Days: 61 Hrs: 5 Mins: 2 Seconds: 39
