We're all in this together and you've been through it before, Lisa, just as I have but in prior quits I didn't have this wonderful support.  You have lots of hands helping you along and, as Sparky said, you don't want to do this again.  This time is your time!  I'm making it my time too.  We know we are addicts so keep this in mind!

Not strictly accurate by scientific definition, but at this stage I'm  air-headed enough not to care - the principle applies and it reminds us we have to take it seriously!

Never so serious we can't laugh at ourselves - go to the Moderators  section and read the comments on the menstrual cycle!

I'm thinking of you, Lisa.  Sparky's right, you CAN do this!!!!!  One crave, one step at a time right now.  Watch tv, nap, drink water, walk, jump up and down and scream...whatever it takes.  And remember...THIS TOO SHALL PASS.  And it will.

We're walkin' the walk with you,

Lisa, hang in there you can do this.  Remember all the quits I had?  I know I don't want to do it over again and I sure don't want you to either.  We can do this, we can do this.  I am here for you!!

Hi Kylisa,

Try to associate your breaks at work with other "activities" such as those suggested by your fellow quitters. Post on here any time you are experiencing an intense craving...........it will help you ride through it.

You are doing very well and soon you will halfway through Hell Week!

Hang in there,

Lisa, don't forget to take little breaks and change your scenery if the cravings get too bad.  When you smoked, you would get up from where you worked, walk outside, smoke, walk back in.  You might have done this to relieve stress, take a little break, etc.  When I first quit I forgot to get up from my desk.  I felt that I needed to be there non-stop.  Don't do that.  Walk around.  Go outside to a non-smoking place.  Changing your scenery is a good thing, especially if the cravings start.  And I'm sure your 2 month old great niece is happy that her great aunt is a non smoker!!!  Day by day, hour by hour, keep saying N.O.P.E. and you'll go far!

You can do it Lisa... don't listen to the "Nicodemon" he's trying to get you back ... you don't want to go back there and have to start all over again do you? :o)  The best thing to do is keep reading, keep posting... It will get better...  You deserve this quit... its looking good on you...

Hi gang, I'm hanging in there, yesterday I was busy babysitting my 2 month old great niece so that helped keep me busy but today is back at work and here is where I really have a hard time fighting the craves, I know I can still stay breaks without smoking but in my head it's like why bother  lol  I know it's just "stinking thinking" but I'll keep hanging in there hour by hour.
