Hey Fellow Quit Buddies!!!

I'M  F I N A L L Y  B A C K!!!!!  I have tried to find the time to post since I returned home from my conference, but there's been sooooo much to do!!!  Rock, I don't see how you can do it....  traveling every week AND posting here like a wild man!!!  Anyways, things are starting to settle down for me and I am back at work...  buried in job requests, but getting back into the routine!  So...  I'm on the IM again daily (if anyone wants to yap a bit)during the week and will be posting like usual when as soon as I get a chance!  There's been a lot of new quit buddy additions to the family and I can hardly wait to pitch in with some words of wisdom(?) and wit!!!

I sure learned a lot from my fellow glassblowing wizzards!  I also learned that there are still triggers for me out there in the big wide world!!!  Thanks to you, though, I can cope with anything!!!  Traveling by plane sure makes me a bit anxious, but I'm a Non-Smoker now and I just laugh at how weak and almost insignificant ol' Nic O. Demon is!!!

A long while back, a great quitter I came to know here stated that I was going to be a future Hall of Famer (Gregor) and all I could think to myself was, yeah right!  It wasn't my intention at first, but then I got to thinking about it.  I read about a lot of the previous HOF's and read hundreds of their posts.  I knew that I didn't have the eloquence of some of them, but by golly, I was willing to put for the effort it took to help out anyone in need here just as my predecessors have!!!   Then I told myself that if I could stay quit for a year, I would fill in the HOF page and see what happened!!!

I want to thank all of you well - wishers and congratulators from the bottom of my little ol' pea-pickin' heart!!!  You have ALL been a  M A J O R  part of my success in banishing the nico-demon from my life!  You and this site, (well, maybe Chantix a little bit)  were what I was missing and needing from previous quits to keep me on the straight and narrow!  Without you, my alias would probably be "Mr. Slipper"!!!

When someone gives me a gift, I have always bent over backwards to repay those who have been so kind and considerate to actually think of me!!!  You all are the considerate ones...  you are helping yourselves to better health and the mental and physical freedom from a terrible addiction  A N D  you are helping everyone else who comes here seeking the same!  How could I not join you in such a worthy endeavor???  I'll continue to help anyone in any little way I can to chase that nico-demon away!

There are so many of you that I would personally like to acknowledge and thank for your friendship, tough love, thoughful musings and for just coming back and being here!  If I did, though, I'm afraid that this thread wouldn't be completed for months and you and I wouldn't be able to help out all of the newbies any more!!!  So, just know that if you have posted on this thread that I thank you and I am forever indebted to you!  AND, if there's anything that I can ever do for you, DO NOT hesitate to ask!!!  I will strive to wear this title well!!!

         Once again, I thank you!!!

                Jim
