And when you come to realize this as Kelly has

Kelly,

I do have trouble seeing how one could crave or years else they would continue smoking. Perhaps they meand that they get a fleeing thought on ocassion which I'm certain can happen.  But I really believe and want you to believe is that in time you lose the taste for the smoke and when that happens you lose the desire and with that, the thoughts fade.  Does that make sense?

Good job young lady!

Wow stickin to it, I've never been quoted before.  I am glad to hear you say that it does go away.  I think you have to want it to, or actually let go.  You hear some people say after  ** years they still crave it, and some say they hate it.  It is different for everyone, but I want to be the one that lets go, completely and enjoys my life in freedom.  I am going to go with what you said and await the final grasp to let me go.

Thanks Stickin..

Part of a reply from Kelly to Ron's recent post  "You need to face it to train your brain that you can do something without the damn cigarette, it seems impossible, and may never completely go away, but all things can be done without smoking, thats the hard part to realize."

All the building blocks are in place and on solid ground.  The "and may never completely go away" is the last phase and I am here to tell you that in fact in does go away.

You simple forget about it a little longer and longer each day you remain quit.  Sometimes you will wake up and realize later that you didn't think about a smoke this morning or forgot about lighting up before bed, or before pulling the handle on the slot machine.  It just keeps get better and better until it can't get any better.  When you are in the thick of it, it difficult to grasp what lies beyond however there truly is a light at the end of the tunnel.  The light that we all seek it is ours.

I want, I want, I want, I want!  You can have, have, and have by
