Good for you Kristi You will be a good influence on them. What helped me also .. I dedicated my Quit to my mother in law... We found out she has lung cancer.. the day I started my Quit.... I will be going to Phoenix to help her for 10 days. My father in law(they are divorced) has COPD/emphysema. I already had a stroke.. picture yourself in situations.. as a NON smoker.. you can do it. The cigarette is NOT going to change the situation.. you still have to deal with what ever it is.. remeber we are all here for you.. YOU will succeed.. From one Lou to another, thank you. from one freebird to my fellow freebird supporters, thank you! I'm still hanging in. Today it's been rough. That is until I went to my Curves workout at lunch. OMG!! what a wake up call! I'm working out, trying to work out all the stress that's been building up this week, the junkie was screaming in my head and in walks a lady with an oxygen tank tagging along behind her. And just like that, the junkie got kicked to the curb~ The baseball moms are all wondering how long i will last. We used to all get in a group and burn one after another, i've been trying to keep busy during practices and talk to myself about how i feel sorry for them that they are still smoking. Maybe I will rub off on them and they will quit soon!
