Crying....

16 years ago 0 1209 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
We adopted a 9 yr old cat Sunday afternoon from the Humane society Thrift Store... She has been at the Humane Society since the end of January.. I am not sure how long she has been in the Thrift Store. I notice she is kind of drooly.. and I knew her ears needed cleaning.. Took her for her FREE check up today.. I am in TEARS.. I took her back with the "ESTIMATE" from the vet.... $600.00 or MORE.. She has infected, abscessed teeth in the back, with mouth sores... she has ear mites so bad they suggest cleaning her ears whilr under sedation to pull her teeth.. I do not have that kind of money.... I took her back with the Estimate from the vet and an EAR FULL .... they connected me to the shelter.. We will have OUR vets look at her.. I said MY vet found these problems in less than 5 minutes and she has been in the shelter since Jan... and you put her out for adoption for someone to take home and bond and LOVE and a 600.00 or MORE vet bill.... they asked if they got her healthy would we take her back.. and I said YES of course.. how could you put her up for adoption in this state in the first place. I left her with tears streaming down my face... I am still crying.. I hope they make her healthy.. pull her teeth.. .. I will take her in a minute.. I am soooo angry.. I only thought of smoking once.. She fit here with the other animals and had her favorite sunny spots, she is a talker.. not load an obnoxious.. just littel soft meows.. I soooo hope they will make her healthy.. and not put her down... she is so full of love.. and she fit in with my bunch, like she has been here forever.... If I had the money I would have paid... but to have a shelter cat for 35.00 ....OOOH I am SOOOO UPSET.... so sorry ...
