Great job so far, Fred!!! If you're hungry, eat!! I found that if I had little snacks more often the cravings seemed to stay in the low intensity range!! When I got hungry, my cravings started to get stronger!!! Yes, chocolate really helped, but I tried to keep that at a minimum. I got some Orbit sugar free gum for the times I couldn't snack and that really helped, too!! So, don't get hungry and don't smoke and have a great day!!! 48 hrs smoke free I feel GOOD Thanks :) your support means a lot to me. I love this web site. I think i'm doing great, it's my second day as a non smoker. So far so good, I just wish I could find a way to satisfy my craving for sweets in a healthy way...one thing I've found is that diet soda is a good way to get the sweet fix...and sometimes herbal tea with sweetener is good, but man, oh man, don't let me near the chocolate bar isle at the corner store or I'm a goner :-) I think Im doing great; it's my only second day as a non smoker. So far so good, but Im so hungry, can't stop....EATING.......chocolate My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 50 Amount Saved: $19.50 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 8 Mins: 47 Seconds: 15

Hey Fred! Congrats on your decision to quit!!! The best advice I can give you has already been given by everyone else except for maybe this: You have to keep a VERY Positive Mental Attitude!!!! If you want this quit more than you want the killer poisoning you, you'll make it!!! Come visit as often as you can and learn about this addiction and you will be better prepared to succeed!!!
