Hey peoples~~ I did good today! We were having computer issues at work so I couldn't post. Day 2 down. Looking at getting a new car hopefully. I'm thinking that will help with the whole smoking while driving thing...Who wants to stink up a new car ?? Thanks everyone for checking on me! I did have a couple of moments today, but got thru them by drinking my water and taking a short walk around the office.

(((Kristi)))
I said it before and I i'll say it again. I just KNOW you're going to make it!
Just start with taking a time out, Kristi. Just remove yourself from the emotional situation right now until you have the addition beat.
It still happens to me. I came on here today hoping to find some sort of magic coping skill because I had an emotional melt-down yesterday and my first instinct was to say "I NEED a ciggarrette!!!" I didn't smoke, but I sure could have.

Kristilu, I hope your second day's going well! If I may offer a bit of advice, it would be this: If, for whatever reason, you decide to smoke another cigarette, then please post here FIRST, and wait a couple of hours to read the responses. There's a massive amount of support available on SSC - you just have to use it.
