Don't compare yourself to your husband...everyone is different and just b/c it is starting out easy doesn't mean that it always will be. focus on yourself and what you have done to get to this point, be proud everyday of how you have overcome your smoking addiction. Be happy and proud of him and encourage him as you would want to be the trigger in his quit b/c you are jealous that it has been easier for him. Pay no attention to anyone else....except for the wonderful self you are developing. I really do believe that quitting smoking (or any addiction for that matter) really changes a person...and it is always for the better! Hi A1, I've been around but lurking more than posting. Sounds like you are going through the normal blah's of February and quitting smoking. I had a really hard time around the 73-87 day mark for whatever reason and didn't think I would get through it. Not smoking made me stronger and I held solid in my quit knowing that smoking will not change anything for me or make me feel any better about anything. Whatever you may be going through will eventually pass and just do what you can to remain in good spirits! Looks like posting might have helped even a little as you get your frustrations or feelings out. Obviously I would recommend more exercise, more water, better diet, remembering to de-stress and relax, find a new hobby, start a project, read, listen to music, make some time to spend with friends and family, go out to dinner with a loved one or find a new distraction from thinking about smoking. If it does not go away then eventually talk to your doctor about depression but I think we are all going through something similar right now and it can be difficult but it does pass. Hold your head up high and don't smoke as that will just make you feel worse in more ways then one. Good job on taking vitamins as those are especially important after quitting. (I definetely need to be taking more of everything right now) You are 100% on the right track with the positive attitude. First off your post was more positive than negative and it appears as though you are attempting to attract that into your life right now. Keep on thinking of positive things and they will come....it takes less effort to be positive and happy then negative and angry. Get quotes off the internet, read a book or story or post here and ask for positive influence. You are doing this day by day and doing an amazing job at it. I am so proud of you and know how proud you are of yourself. Have a wonderful weekend! Happy Friday to you too A1! Hope your day has turned around, if not, remember that just because we're having a bit of a day we DON'T have to smoke. All we have to do is get through best we can ... go to bed and there! Done! Take good care. thanks Lainey, I do take vitamin B, it does help. I am not really sad, just blah. I have been having weird nic cravings the last few days, unusual, it just depressed me that I felt like I was fighting again thats all. I guess its to be expected. I have been interviewed twice in the last two days, intensley, so that probably has something to do with it. I will pop somemore B. Thanks for responding...people seem to be scarce. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 71 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,130 Amount Saved: $266.25 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 19 Mins: 41 Seconds: 30

Hey Anx1! Are you feeling depressed? if so try this test, I read about somewhere online. Take vitamin B12 complex every day and see if it helps, if it helps but not completely, then try 1000mcg of Vitamin B12. If the vitamins work, then its not depression. If they don't help then see your Doctor as it is likely depression. Depression is a part of quitting because nicotine affected the brains receptors. The vitamins worked for me, give it a try! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 347 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,675 Amount Saved: $3,660.85 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 13 Mins: 35 Seconds: 1
