Hi Dan and welcome to the site! The first thing to do is set your quit date and then start reading everything you can here to help you with your quit and withdrawls. Like you mentioned, this site is great and is has helped me tremendously, the support from people here is awesome, as well as the people. Read as much as your can, get informed and work on the "milestones". I am just down the road from you in London. My first time quitting also. Better sooner than later.
