You can handle it, Bear. You know you can & I know you can. Freemom's ideas are good. But also, imagine the ass-kicking (yeah, I said ass, not ash) you would get here. If you really don't think you can, though, just hang at the treehouse party. There won't be smoing going on there. Sorry, accidentally hit reply too soon! As I was saying ... Adjust that attitude bear! You are just letting the demon put ideas in your head. We ex-smokers have to be VERY careful about what ideas we let in! It's good that you recognize this potential trigger - but now you have to make a plan to handle it smoke-free! Bring along, gum, candies, a lollipop, a rubberband to snap on your wrist every time your thoughts stray that way ... Or you can also keep reminding yourself that you'd never just have the one - you'd be hooked in no time! Just some tough love for someone who I know can take what he dishes out! :) - Freemom My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 275 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,300 Amount Saved: $1,122.00 Life Gained: Days: 25 Hrs: 12 Mins: 4 Seconds: 26

This is when it starts for me. Don't ask me why I don't know New Years has this effect on me .It starts a couple of drinks at home, some music, the need for companionship and off to the bar we go.The next thing you know your looking for the smokers so you can bum a smoke of them, sound familiar well this is what I will battle to keep my quit intact. :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 284 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,112 Amount Saved: $2,840.00 Life Gained: Days: 64 Hrs: 21 Mins: 44 Seconds: 42
