Blue, I don't know if you know this but I watch you closely. Your quit seems a lot like mine and I've noticed that I go thru similar phases you have before me. I am just about two full months behind you. I love your post! I am looking forward even more to six months clean. Thank you and congrats! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 125 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,750 Amount Saved: $731.25 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 3 Mins: 43 Seconds: 25

Aww, Blue, you have come such a long way since you joined us. You are a very strong, determined and committed (in the good way, ARE, not SHOULD BE) person and you have every right to be proud of every minute of your truly beautiful quit. That is great for you Blue! It is the choice we make, and you will find that it's getting better and better each consecutive month! Smoking is not worth giving up my life. I intend to be smoke free forever, right along side you! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 297 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,425 Amount Saved: $3,133.35 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 8 Mins: 21 Seconds: 15

I have all good news. My first smoke free Christmas went very well. No major craves to deal with. I am almost 6 months free. All the above = what I was reaching for when I first signed in on the SSC. I was uncertain about my ability to quit, not even sure I wanted to, I just knew I NEEDED to quit. I wanted to breath. I read the post about how hard it is to quit and it was hard. I read the post about how the addiction comes at you from all directions. I saw the addiction from all directions. I read how life would get better. I wondered how long it would take. I now know my life is better. It is the choice I make. The Clouds are a brighter Blue now. There is a silver lining around the edge. I can only give thanks for the beauty of what this quit means to me. And thanks to the SSC. I am glad to be in a group of such unique people. We are real.
