Well March Mellows, a lot of us continue to win the battle of addiction. I really don't think of smoking anymore, I just stopped in to say Merry Xmas to those who helped me in the early days. I especially want to thank LampLighter and Lainey, whose ability to put in words that smoking would not make things any better--the situation would be the same, only now you smoke again.
I'm free...and for those of you who are wondering when and "if" it ever gets easy, it does...I promise. Just remember, I would trade a lifetime of wanting a smoke occasionally to constantly feeling the disappointment and guilt of wishing I didn't smoke. My family is so proud of me, but more important, I am proud of me...
Happy Holidays,
Bart
