Killing me Softly

Hi Stickin... I'm stirring some tapioca pudding for baby kitty - with the laptop next to the stove, and gee whiz. Here you are:) And maybe I can be the first reply!:) You are right. This addiction is a relationship that should have never happened but it did, and had grand impact. Sheesh - I meet people every day of all ages who struggle or question things just like we do. You're normal, and more than that - You're soooo smart to leave this addiction behind for as long as you have! I had chest x-rays done earlier this week, and it's scary! As far as we know I don't have cancer but I do have a fresh start at improving the quality of my life - so here I am! Thanks for posting... Gotta stir and refrigerate this pudding:) Hey... Maybe relationships like ours can just replace that old fart who keeps trying the Killing me Softly thing:) Party over the stove!! Here's a Tapioka toast just for you:) 'night -- mk My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 46 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 690 Amount Saved: $172.50 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 19 Mins: 42 Seconds: 42

Killing me Softly As I begun to awaken this morning, dark out, 5:30 a.m., I heard this little man talking from inside my chest. He said, in a frightened, small and soft voice, Stickin I miss you and Im afraid Im dying. He said you and I go way back together since childhood please dont let me go, I need you. I laid there thinking about this poor little guy begging for help and I thought how could I still keep this little man in my life without smoking. By quitting I have learned Im not able to walk in the smoking mans shoes again. I like the way the new pair fits, they are real nice. Im sorry to ditch you bud, seeing how long we have been together but I must say to you, you were killing me softly in the relationship that we have had since childhood.
