Unhooked, thats the funniest term I have ever heard. I think I shall be using that a lot on my sister when Grace does what is natural :)
Blue Cloud, I'd never really thought of it that way. You see, I always proclaimed that it was because I smoked that I was never ill (in a 'general cold' kind of way, also known as 'man-flu'). I know quite a few smokers who think that way too, so for once it wasn't me being weird. Yet another junkie trick to protect the potential quitter from quitting maybe? Possibly one that is passed around between avid smokers? 'You don't want to quit mate, you'll get ill'.
I shall add 'stronger at fighting off enemy germs' as one of the plusses of quitting that I forgot about. I'll let it slowly seep into my subconcious. Good on yer for challenging my junkie ingrained thoughts. Mmmwwwahh.
On the health side of things, it seems that since I quit, I have had nervous dispepsia (or that has what has been diagnosed by my family). Given that I am not hiding or masking anything by smoking I think it is only expected. I'd rather have constant burps than smoke. Theres always the chance that it may eventually go away (looking on the bright side).
Next time you are at a restaurant and the person on the next table starts burping loudly and uncontrollably, ask him if he's just quit smoking :)
Hope you like my little coffee time story.
My little joke for the day (story related) :
Is a dispeptic someone who burps letters in the wrong order? :)
HUGS from Kev
ps. still looking on the bright side of life and still JFDI ;)
