LOL, don't worry unhooked, I could've typed that message easily about 30 days ago, and probably still could 30 days from now! sprquits is doing great and every obstacle we all over come, no matter how high that ostacle is in our quit, it just makes us stronger!!! So let's keep climbing over those obstacles, and not let anything stand in the way of our health and our quits! no problem Unhooked, I understood :) Thanks again for the support. It really does help. I think I'll have some green tea now and work on my talk for this friday. I'll try to take it easy now ;) I just need to keep thinking it is yet one more day smoke-free. Be it rough or not I'll make it to tonight without smoking again and tomorrow will be a better day! Can't wait to be done with week two :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 120 Amount Saved: $39.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 21 Seconds: 50

Good for you for hanging in, kaiti. Non-smokers have stressful days and rough times and irritating exes, too. Smoking doesn't change any of that. Every time we get through one of those situations without smoking, that's one more we know we can get through again. Keep going, kaiti, you're doing awesome! Thanks Kaiti for the kind words. I know, I kept thinking that and telling myself that having a cigarette wouldn't change a thing. But there was a side of me that didn't care. I think because part of the reason why I quit the first time, 13 years ago, was because he was so against it. So, it's as if I felt like smoking just to rebel against him. The thing is, no matter what kind of childish excuse I want to give myself to pick up another one it will only affect me and my health... and that's what I should be thinking about now. Thanks again :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 120 Amount Saved: $39.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 21 Seconds: 9

One thing to think about when your craving during a stressful and emotional situation is ..... will the cigerette change the event. Will puffing on the cancer stick change anything that is going on in your life at that moment. The answer is NO. Life continues to go on and we have to handle the situations whether we are smoking or not. Be stronger than the crave, and deal with the situation as a "non-smoker", not a smoker. Be proud you made it through!!!!! thank goodness the depaneur downstairs has just gotten their license suspended for selling individual cigarettes! I just came back from a very stressful morning coffee with my ex and felt like I could smoke a whole pack in one hour. I can't believe how weak I'm feeling now. I stopped by the depaneur and thought that was it... I was going to throw it all away. One whole week of effort, feeling great most of the days... and all because of what? Feeling like I'm responsible for his depression. Geez, I'm an idiot! Anyhoo, don't mean to depress anyone with my little vent. I just needed to get some of this stuff out. I'm still here, still smoke free... hopefully the rest of the day will go a bit better :) Thanks for listening guys :D My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 120 Amount Saved: $39.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 20 Seconds: 13
