Marlboro girl
Congratulations on making a great choice for yourself. The sad thing about smoking is that as we did it we were blind to the effects of the addiction. This made it oh so easy to keep on walking down nicotine street. However, the ultimate effects are cummulative and eventually the devil seeks his due.
Quitting at your age is about the smartest thing you will ever do for yourself. But I won't lie to you, it takes grit, determination and a whole lot of soul searching to get it done. The good news is that once you reach a point where smoking becomes a real choice, you will wonder why you ever smoked in the first place. That is how much of a mind game the addiction really is.
So good luck to you, read as much as you can and post often. Many people here will invest in your quit.
