They all go thru that stage, and thats all it is, a stage. Kelly, my youngest used to pull that one too, I told him it was my responsiblity to be a good parent and I was going to be one whether he liked it or not. I also used to tell them, that it was their responsibilty as a member of this family to keep their room tidy or help out at home. About 50% success on that one. He's the third and last to get through high school. I made it by the skin of my teeth with the other two and refrained from throwing them in the fire. I suppose I'll survive this one. Probably. But, guess what? We had it out tonight worse than we ever have. He told me I was a horrible mother. I got angry, frustrated and even went in my bedroom and cried a little and when I had relaxed a minute and calmed down I realized I had done it all without once even thinking of a cigarette. So cool! That junkie must have known it was bonfire night and decided to keep a low profile. Now, who brought beer cuz I can't drink rye with the big girls and I need a drink? kelly, he's 14! How long after you were 14 did you think about settling down? I'm still not sure I'm ready. 14 year old boys are not the most emotionally aware creatures on Earth and you could hold their feet to the fire for a long time & they would not notice because they're consumed with Brittany & Jessica.
