doctor visit?

Hi Boldinaz, I just wanted to let you know that I experienced similar things earlier in my quit and it lasted awhile. Weird body changes. Hot throat, tight chest and other things that were really my body healing for many weeks. Unfortunately, I had a relapse, but it's a good thing it wasn't for long. I took a few days to smoke as much as I wanted and found that I couldn't get a full breath anymore. Just scary, stupid, experience... My lungs feel questionable too at times, but I did see my doctor and keep fairly close contact with my Chantix prescription stuff etc... I guess I'd like to encourage you to see your Dr. anyway - just to rule out cancer. I know it's a nasty word, but if you can swing it - I'd ask for some testing just to ease your mind ---- and then get on with your journey to the new Boldinaz!:) Hang tight... mk My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 45 Amount Saved: $11.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 13 Seconds: 22

Bold, I don't think it is a good idea to put seeing a doctor off. Please take my advice and see your doctor! Do you have any stomach problems? It is always a good idea to check with your doctor, if a symptom persists. They can help rule out anything medical :) Josie, Support Specialist

Hey guys the tightness in my chest is really starting to bother me latley, it actually got so bad that the feeling woke me up in the middle of the night last night. I'm still not sure if this tight feeling in my chest is something I should be worried about but its been bothering me for like 3 days or so. Just that everytime I breathe it feels real heavy and tight pretty much best way I can describe it. Would u guys recomend seeing a doctor about this now or waiting for a few days and see if it gets better since it also could just be my body system getting over not having any nicotine for a long time? Also has anyone else had this problem and if so how long did it last after you quit smoking, and did you see a doctor for it?
