WOOHOO!!! mercy, I am so proud of you, taking the bull by the horns like that! (& you just a little bitty goat!).
What a positive, inspiring post & also a great reminder that we cannot become complacent, that we have to be vigilant for the time when we might have to make some changes to the plan, or lose the quit.
I have been thinking lately that as we learn to face our demons and react to our feelings without our old buddy nicotine, we can become much more self-aware if we allow ourselves to be. We can give ourelves what we truly need instead of what we absolutely do not, when we have the awareness to recognize what it is. We can only be happier, calmer, more tolerant people because of that.
That's what I see here, mercy. 178 days ago, you would have thought, "I feel restless & like something is not going the way it should. I better have a smoke & hope it goes away." Instead, you are saying, "I better look at what doesn't feel right, face it and do what I can to make it right."
We love you, too, mercy.
