Boldinaz, sorry you're having a rough time. The first 3 days are the hardest, physically and emotionally. The good news is you're almost through them. 2 things you need to do: 1. Be proud of yourself, it's a hard thing 2. Be good to yourself, you're recovering from all kinds of assaults on your body & mind. Sleep if you're tired, be alone if everybody pi$$es you off, eat if you feel like it. This time is about you. That Cheeks is a quick learner! Everything she says is absolutely right. 5 minutes or even 1 minute at a time will get you through. Take my hand & hang on, boldinaz, you're almost through the worst! Hey boldinaz, Sorry to hear you are having a rough day. I was where you are not too long ago myself and I can say it does get better and it does get easier. Try doing some activities that you find relaxing. Personally, I pretty much slept away the first week of my quit, but I think it is what my body needed. If it helps, don't think of it as having to get through an entire day. Try taking it crave by crave, minute by minute. Anyone can not smoke for 5 minutes, just keep breaking it down into smaller chunks. You are doing an awesome thing for yourself. Hang in there, the results are definitely worth it. Hey guys i'm about to go onto day 3 of my quit and my body just feels so down right now since i'm not smoking and it seems like any little thing sets me off in a bad way lol... I just know if i can get past the next few days without smoking ill be in good shape but its going to be really hard if I keep feeling like this just from not smoking. But I will do everything in my power to keep smoke free :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20 Amount Saved: $11.50 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 7 Mins: 19 Seconds: 40
