Unhooked,
There's nothing crazy or weird about that at all! Also, be VERY careful when you go to the stampede next week! Before I quit smoking, my roommate at the time and I bought tickets to a concert. Well, the concert was about 2 months after I'd quit smoking, and for DAYS before, all I could think about was how I was going to make it through this particular rock concert smoke free. They give out 3 free packs of cigarettes to anybody who wants them there, and I knew it'd be hard to resist, but I figured I was strong enough in my quit that it'd be OK. Well, on my 3 hour drive to the concert, I'd decided that I would go get the cigarettes and give all of them to my then former roommate who still smoked. Well, during the drive, it turned from giving her all three packs to only giving her 2 packs and keeping one for myself. Well, that's exactly what happened and I ended up smoking 2 puffs of a cigarette (that tasted absolutely nasty and made me sick) and then put it out and gave the rest of the pack to her. But the fact is that the temptation was there for SO long that it slowly crept into my brain and somehow turned from a VERY bad idea into a VERY good idea! DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!! Keep yourself away from any temptation if possible! I know how those difficult situations can be! And if you're thinking, before you even get there, that "maybe one won't hurt," then turn your car around and go home. It's not worth it! But if you're still wanting to tackle this, then go and have a great time! I'm sure the stampede will be a blast!
Crave the Quit!
