Why can't I get on with it?

Hey Lily, Just remember that the roller coaster ride you MAY go through as an ex-smoker is still better than the roller coaster ride you WILL go through once a smoker suffers some smoking related disease or condition. This will pass. 6 months is a great place to be. Just keep it positive. Lily, This is a great achievement! You should be proud :) What are you doing to combat this? Have you talked with your doctor, nutritionist, gym instructor? Take the time to connect with your doctor to come up with a plan that is right for you and your body. The time is now and this can be your new focus! You have the drive and determination to quit, you can do this! Josie, Support Specialist

[font=Comic Sans MS]I'll be quit 6 months soon and ya'know there ain't a day that goes by that I don't think of smoking!!!! (of having one) I guess you would call that a smoking memory not a crave? I think of smoking everyday I read where some members never think of it again after a few months. I tell you there must be something wrong with me (like I said not a day that goes by!!!!) Only thing keeps me from having one is that first few weeks gosh was it h**L!!! don't won't to go through that again. I keep plugging alone thinking it's gonna get better (I don't know) I've gain 25 lbs. that I didn't need NOW I need to lose 75 lbs. I've gotten pretty fat and unhappy with myself!!! My exercising isn't working cause I take a beta blocker which slows down my heart rate. (can't get the heart rate up) Right now all I have left is food and I got to do something about that!!!!! I don't know what to do!! (maybe I'm depressed??) P.s. Nobody smokes around me!!! (I do smell it on a co-worker at work) My husband doesn't smoke why can't I just quit thinking about it?
