This quit was quite easy compared to others. Why? Because I came into this quit with a different, positive attitude, and the realization that I was addicted to Nicotine.
If you want to quit you have to treat yourself as an addict. Nicotine is a drug that addicts quickly and completely, knowing that and realizing that are key to quitting.
How can I help Newbies? Come into this quit, close the door behind you and never look back. There are things in our lives that we automatically do, because we feel we 'need' to or 'have' to do them, make quitting one of those things, no matter however you go about it in your own life. Do it for your life, do it positively.
I chose "Smoking is not an option, so I will have to do something else. NOPE!" as my self talk mantra. It really helped.
If you can get your head in this place where you believe you are an addict and have to do this for your life, you will succeed. :)
