Hi Kristabelle. Yes I also experienced horrible side effects going on and coming off meds. I personally think its about knowing your own body and how it handles things like chemicals, meds, foods etc. I once had a doctor who told me to stop the meds I was taking and to just swap to new ones on a higher doseage - I refused to do it in the end because I didn't agree with that technique. Another doctor I had said to very slowly build up your doseage, not to just take one full pill immediately, to start off with a little crumb then a little more the next day, till you get to half a pill then just keep doing the same thing until you get to the doseage you require - (same thing for coming off them) I found that method worked much better. I think its absolutely ridiculous that there are these 'experts' out there who think that its okay to stop a medication completly one day or to just swap to something else. I'm a firm believer that your body needs to be weaned on and off things and not shocked with new or higher doseages of chemicals. I had no joy with meds due to the side effects and refuse to use them ever again. I'm experimenting with natural medicine, herbs etc to see if theres something there that might help without causing all the side effects that traditional meds do. This may not work for everyone, some people may feel better on meds, but this is what works better for me. I hope you also find something that works for you. :)
