Thanks for the breathing. I needed that. As for the pj day, I wish! I am expected to clean up the house, u know, dishes, sweeping, laundry, kids, etc., etc. Bad day? I dont get a bad day. If I don't do anything, I will get dirty looks and rude comments all night. I do want to keep the quit, but the only reason I am not smokin right now is because i dont want them to be able to hold it over on me. They would too, because they cant quit themselves. I cant talk about it to them either, or i get accused of thrying to convince other people to quit, and being one of "those" ex-smokers. Thanks for being here and trying to help. It's nice to know someone cares My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,008 Amount Saved: $330 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 20 Mins: 54 Seconds: 54

Whynot. Breathe in :gasp: Breathe out :8o: Come on. I'm doing it with you. Really deep breaths here. Breathe in :gasp: Breathe out :8o: Breathe in :gasp: Breathe out :8o: Breathe in :gasp: Breathe out :8o: Ok. Slow down. Of course you want to smoke. That has been your coping mechanism for years and years. You know what I think you want to do more than smoke? Stay quit! So let's try some stuff here. You say you stayed home today. I use to call that a reward. I would make coffee, get a couple of movies, watch tv, stay in my PJ's all day and just do nothing or whatever it was that "I" wanted to do. Read a book, go for a walk, whatever it is that you enjoy doing. Smoking will not make anything better and it definately will not make it easier for you to afford anything. People in life may appear at times to get something for doing nothing but in the long run it really doesn't work that way. Appearances can be deceiving. As long as you continue to do your best and what you are suppose to do, it doesn't matter what others do. Keep your focus on the things you can control. Like Not Smoking. Five minutes at a time. STOP telling yourself you want to smoke. Instead start telling yourself "I am NOT going to smoke"! Get mad about it, get determined, get ticked off at the addiction that has enslaved you for years. Think about it. This addiction has controlled you, what you do, when you do it, where and for how long. What kind of life is that? You have 40 Awesome days on that meter! That is 40 days of FREEDOM! 40 days that you didn't give in to the nicodemon. YOU are in control now not the addiction. The addiction wants you back but don't you give in to it. You are stronger than that. You have already proven it. Look at your stats! Have a great PJ day. Clear your mind and turn some of those negative thoughts around into positive ones. I want to smoke! I can't believe that's what I want, but I really, really do! I am so p@@@@@ right now I don't know what to do with the emotions. I am tired of watching people get ahead fraudently, and no one says anything. And all of a sudden tobacco is free around this house ( I love with 2 smokers) Everyone keeps being given packs of delicious tailor mades, I could never afford those suckers....I smoked damn roll your owns. And no one is here, except my 5 year old, and she sure doesn't get it! (Not that I would talk to her about this anyway) I am so mad I don't know what to do. I am expected to make two drives to town to drive everyone to work and school. Right! What about my life. So I said no. I made sure my family had rides where they were going, and said no, I stayed home today. Well, that caused a problem because know people know I am upset about something. But why the heck should I tell them why? You know what I will hear? Oh, your just jealous. Can't make you happy. Well, get me into my own place and I will be happy! (Damn to the lack of apartments around here) Well, I pay my rent, follow the rules, support myself and my family. And, your damn right, it really, REALLY, bugs me to see people who don't deserve it, who don't work for anything, get everything. I am so damn sick of it. At least if I smoke my tobacco, I won't get in S*&^ for not giving it to HIM! ArgHHHHHHHHH! Someone please help me, I really wanna smoke!
