Hi interesting - I'm worried that you are putting too much pressure on yourself too soon. We are not expected to function normally during the first week - Do what you need to do and nothing more...if you don't have to go to the office and you don't want to go to the office, don't go. Obviously, there are some jobs that we cannot put aside. (i.e. Yes...you will still have to go to work) Just be easy on yourself - if you aren't perfect, nothing terrible will happen. You are quitting an addiction that has been part of your life for a very long time. Do the best that you can but cut yourself some slack. Life will gradually become "normal" but in a whole different way. You are doing well! Hey intresting How is day 3 going? I hope better. Well, now ya got the x husband thing over. WWWwwwooHHhhoo! As my friend LIlly here at SSC says, the seasons of quitting. You will have many many firsts with this quit and with each first you will need to learn how to deal and replace the DEMON. Even myself at almost a year. I live in a resort area and just had family and friends in for the holidays. So I had my first holidays hitting the beach and bars with my smoking visitors. I did it. (or should I say....I DID'NT do it) Figure out before you go back to work and school what you will do with the time you used to smoke break. Make a plan and then work it. The best quits are planned and prepared. If you "wing it" your coping skills may not be there quick enough. You are doing EXCELLENT. We are proud of you!!
