HI McGlaughin,
I really do not focus on smoking and what I lost. I used to do that. I would See people smoking and think "why can;'t I "enjoy" a cigarette?". Now, I see people smoking and think, "that poor bloke is going to have to face his addiction someday. Hope he does not killl himself first". It is really a subconcious thing now. I wake up in the morning, have some coffe, and BAM, thoughts of smoking come into my mind. I push them out, get busy with something else, have something to eat; BAM, smoking enters my mind again. I guess I still have those activities that TRIGGER my smoking urges. That is what I want to be free from...the constant, everyday, BAM, urge to smoke.
Silly me,
I have only been taking 2 a day for about 5 days now. I am not as depressed as I was last week; that is for sure. I am going to talk with my dr. about this medication. I was using lexapro, then I was taking one a day of each, lexapro, and wellbutrin sr. I think that I do need to work on this now that I am nicotine free. Add it to the fricking list.
Darklady,
You can do it. Once you go one time during your pms week without smoking, it will build confidence that you can do it next time. Get your meter going! Hang tough
