Hi Dunedad and Jimmy too, First of all I want to say that you both are doing great. The next thing is this: Us women, we cry when we are quitting smoking, you guys don't. You need to find another way to deal with your feelings and smoking isn't one of them. Whether you smoke or not: Childeren (teens) will always be a pain in the a***. Teens with non-smoking parents do the very same thing, they all do that, that's how teens are. You have to know that smoking doesn't solve anything, you would just be more pissed off because you smoked. So, what I am trying to say is this: Try to deal with your feelings and try not to kick some a**. Good luck with everything and I am so happy that my daughter is not a teen anymore....(smile) Love Dutch.xxx My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 309 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 9,276 Amount Saved: 911.55 Life Gained: Days: 43 Hrs: 0 Mins: 31 Seconds: 3

Dunedad, Sorry to hear your vacation isn't starting off on the right foot but unfortunately that is what you got handed. Now you have to roll with it. Smoking isn't going to solve any of it but doing something nice for yourself may help make you feel better. Think about it, do you really want to go back to hell week? You've come so far and worked so hard. Don't let it all come apart. Look at this as a challenge and learn how to keep smoke free when your buttons are being pushed. You'll come out on the other side an even stronger quitter. Employ those coping strategies and stay strong. I know you can do this! Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi Kevin, It's me your friend Christine. Look at how many days you have NOT burned one! Don't EVEN THINK ABOUT IT NOW. I will come out there and whoop YOUR behind. You are a fabulous person and a great quitter. Things are just grinding on you. I get that - vacation are sometimes more work than they are worth. Take a break !! Get another adult to stay with the kids while you get some snow time or a cop of tea or something. You have come WAY too far to go back to being a stinky, guilty rotten huffin puffin smoker ! YUK. Remember the reasons you quit (and I don't mean this vacation). For yourself buddy, for YOU! I will be standing by and you have my email if you need an extra kick in the tookas. I am very proud of you and tomorrow this will not look and feel as bad as it does right now ! B R E A T H E buddy, just B R E A T H E ! Easy does it. Dunedad, I could not go through withdrawl / cravings / depression / all consuming / worthlessness / expensive / frowned upon / cigarette vs nicotine vs tobacco crap again. could you ? We all know it's addiction to nicotine so don't let the 'situation' get the better of you. 'Chin up' dude.... remember that you have 3 lovely & healthy daughters & that they will remember this holiday for the rest of their lives - so make it a good one for their sake. hope this helps My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 765 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 19,139 Amount Saved: $4972.5 Life Gained: Days: 110 Hrs: 13 Mins: 53 Seconds: 28
