2tone,
Actually, I've read several statistics that say that if you use some sort of support group, you have almost a 50% chance of succeeding. As for overall, I've heard 1 in 10, 1 in 5 and now you say 1 in 3. I don't think anybody knows exactly what the statistic is on that! Personally, I think anybody who tries to come up with a statistic is going to come up with a radically different statistic than everybody else. But here's one statistic that is NEVER wrong. OK, you ready? No really, I'm not joking you. This is real and is 100% guaranteed! Ready? You have a 100% chance of succeeding, yes I said 100% chance if you don't smoke that next cigarette! :) The ones before it don't count and the ones after it don't count. Only that next cigarette counts! And if you don't smoke it, then you have a 100% guaranteed chance of succeeding at this quit. Are you up for the challenge? I know I am! And so far, I've gone 441 days without lighting it and look forward to many, many more. How about you?
Crave the Quit!
Pam
