Welcome, Kygirl: You're absolutely in the right place -- we'll see you down this wonderful path to quitting. It's a fine place to be!
Deep breaths and lots of water can really be helpful. Watch your self-talk, too. Keep it on the positive side, as in all the positives of becoming the nonsmoker you have CHOSEN to be. That's all this is, you know, a CHOICE. (And a damn good one, I must say!)
There is literally NOTHING positive about smoking -- you know that, so don't allow the addiction to trick you into believing that smoking holds the key to what ails you. The SMOKING is what ails you!
You CAN do this -- we'll help.
Keep the faith -- and your great quit!
