Thanks for your responses! I figured a little more of it out, but don't know what to change. It's going to be a project in progress! Here's what happens: I go to school, and I teach all morning... get the ole' adrenaline revved up to get me through the classes, and looking smart. lol So... it's noon - time to go smoke - gotta do something to get rid of this adrenaline! No... can't smoke anymore, so go out for lunch. That doesn't do it. I spent the entire afternoon unsettled, just going from one thing to another in my head and on my desk, and accomplishing little. It's the first of the semester, I have a ton to do, and I'll get it done... tonight!
I need to figure out a way to get rid of the adrenaline between morning and afternoon. I use the afternoons to prepare for the next day, and need to be calm instead of all wound up! So... I'm thinking exercise might be the first thing I'll try. Tomorrow, I'll take clothes with me and at least go get on the treadmill for awhile. I'll keep you posted.
One other question: The most nicorette I ever used was 4 of the 2 mg pieces the first day I quit. Over the weekend there were a couple days I didn't have any, when I was sick, and the past two days I had one piece each day, and today I didn't bother. I can't imagine that one piece of nicorette gives you much of a zing... what do you think?
