I have completed one year of stop smoking. I just want to take the time to thank this website for their support. I know I was ready to stop but with out this support I think my journey would have been much tougher. I depended on a higher power (God) to get me through and it worked. I believed I could do it and the importance that I am in control of my mind and not my mind in control of me. It worked!!!! Everytime I saw someone smoking I said ""in the Name of Jesus" or just plan "Jesus". I acknowledged that the addiction (yes, addiction) was bigger than me and asked for God's support. It was very hard in the beginning but your SSC Quit Meter was the most important component in my quitting strategy.
