Hi stormy,
When you said that you are tired of chewing the gum; do you mean nicotine gum or regular gum? I relapsed after a 100+ day quit. I was doing NRT for about 60 of those days. After I made the break with the nicotine lozenges, I really started to feel better. By the time I had gone 40 days without any NRT, it was getting easier. I made a stupid choice and smoked a cig at my daughters going away party. She graduated from college and moved to New York City, so I was very stressed. It was a fatal decision when it came to my quit. I know that it gets soooo exhausting having that nicotine NAG. It does get better. You will regret it if you smoke. Look forward to the day that you will be truly free. HANG TOUGH!
