Hi Guys, What would I do without you lot? Your all so brilliant!! I know most of you state I aint failed, but I have in a certain way. I was over 3 weeks before I went to Turkey, then thats where I was weak and the demon got me. Anyway, not this time eh? Gonna take loads you your advice and this time Im gonna be stronger. I am gonna take my pills at the same time daily and not after 3pm although I am sleeping ok for the time being, but I know I was up at all hours last time. I have decided to go back to my old job part time as the bar runs itself on weekdays. I am a lorry driver(trucker) by trade and my old boss comes in for a drink now and again and we had a chat. Maybe if I get more active it may help my situation and to see my old work mates will be another good thing. I have come off the atkins diet too. It was too much for me. Even tho` Ive put on a few pounds, I will need to put 100 pounds for it to affect my health like nicotine. Finally, I have purchased Alan Carrs book which should arrive today. I`m gonna take it on my trips in my Truck and keep it at hand constantly. Ok, I will stop rambling on. Got things to do and people to see. You know how it is? I wanna take this last line to thanks all of you for you unlimited support in my case and I hope I can give it back to you and others ten-fold in the coming weeks/months.I am determined to beat this-its a promise!! Hey Jacko, Good to see you sticking to the quit. I would advise you to stick to the medication though, come off that too early and you might fail your quit. I stopped taking them I just forgot to take them, and I am struggling right now. Make it as easy as you can on yourself, I know you can do this! Welcome Jacko (again). Be sure to check out the program tools to the left and develop a plan for when the cravings hit. Always remember to take it one step at a time and remember NOPE (not one puff ever) That is how we all quit. Quitting isn't easy but it is doable. Reach out to the good folks around here Before you smoke and they can help you through the tough times. No matter what, no matter how many times it takes, don't ever quit quitting. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 396 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,928 Amount Saved: $1386 Life Gained: Days: 34 Hrs: 22 Mins: 24 Seconds: 54
