Still hanging in there and gratful for every second. I wish the desire would leave completely but at least I can fight that sneaky demon and keep him away. I have been really tempted several times but have managed to remember my reasons for quitting and stay with it. What I seem to have problems is that ole urge to sneak just one and nobody will know thinking. I have no idea why this has been such a demom for me. I promised myself that will not light up without coming here and posting and being totally honest about my thoughts and feelings. This support group has been a life saver for me. I just want to get rid of this darn ole nicodemon. Sometimes I'm not even thinking about smoking but see a pack that someone else has left on a table or something and I'm really tempted to grab one when no one is looking. This bothers me as this has always been a problem for me. In the past I have smoked it only to get really dizzy and nauseous and then hate myself to doing it. I don't ever want to have that feeling again and I hope I can remember how awful it is BEFORE I grab one. I am staying strong and always say N. O. P. E. Feel better getting this off my chest!! 30 days + is totally cool Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... Mookie, Tremendous accomplishment! The first month is a bear and you faced it head on and came out a winner. It sounds like you have a positive outlook and a sound game plan for those tough craves.
