Thanks for bringing this thread Mr. Ed. As Rusty has said "The beach has always been a wonderful way to celebrate the major milestone of reaching 100 days smoke free."
I know for me that I used the "Century Club" as that tantalizing place to rest, rejuvinate and the goal I set for myself. The image of the beach itself was relatively unimportant and the hundred days was absolutely of the utmost importance. Didn't matter how I got there, didn't matter what all that was important was reaching that 100 day mark, all that mattered was to just not smoke.
I thank Duffis for starting this fantastic place and thank all of those who have put so much energy and focus into helping and supporting all of the quitters who come to this site and this thread. A wonderful and congratulatory salute to all who have reached 100 days and all who come here for support and care! Please reward yourself for having done so much hard work and taken such pains to get here. Also know that there are many here who will support you and offer a hand in the tough times, all you need to do is post. Thanks for the "beach" and thanks to all of you for "being there".
Stay Strong - Stay Quit

Glad you made it!

How's about the grill just take care of itself for a bit. Thanks Mr. Ed you have been an amazing chef and a truly talented provided for our entertainment. YOu have provided so much, perhaps its time for a reward. I'd sent you a medal if I could and you'll just have to take my thanks.
Have a lovely time at the real beach.

OOOOOOOHHHHH!
Mr. Ed you seem like a very down horse. Perhaps you need to go and run in the sand or do something really wild, fix yourself a grass-tini, or a whiskey and hay.
I am really sorry that you feel so bad about how quiet the beach has got. I feel sad too and there will be new arrivals and new quitters hitting the 100 day mark soon. Like Luna said there is a boat load of people headed straight here. They have been lurling and listening to all the horsing around for weeks now and I am sure they are waiting to see you and all of your very frisky and equine energy.
And I will wait for some of that fantastic grilled fish that you are famous for and a few vegetables, the Peruvian asparagus is great right now and for dessert I really like all the fresh berries that are ripe and being harvested right now, and mmmmmm ice cream.
Perk up, Mr. Ed because things will pick up here in their time. The beach has always been a great place to lay back and celebrate a very hard 100 days, nothing has happened to change that. The celebrations will continue and the quitters will keep coming. Joonie and Cuddles will be arriving soon and Cuddle has work really really hard to get here she will be most disappointed if there is no welcome and particularly no beach. Bingo will arrive shortly after. So lets get ready and get this place in working order.
Remember - "this too shall pass".
Ciao Peace
Phillip
