ItsIronic - This will make you laugh too - I don't think you should take up golf unless you do it like me. My husband and I went out to Vegas and some older ladies were behind us, it's polite to let more experienced golfers play through (let them go ahead of you). Well they wouldn't, we asked them a couple of times. So - long story short, by the end of the golf course I saw a couple of them holding their sides laughing and pointing at me (which just made me laugh too!). I spent the whole 9 holes jumping into the water to retreive the balls I hit in there and yelling to my husband, "Hey, there's a boatload of balls in here, what color do ya want?" He laughed and about died of embarassment. I had the best new golfer experience ever. My golfing was not too good, but the point is to have fun, right? My husband could not argue that I definitely had fun ......... P.S. I didn't wear golf shoes and of course, nobody was SMOKING! CobenFan

Dear(CobenFan)Christine and Lady Lady you are right, Coben is definitly a comedian! Christine your story was comical! What is so darn ironic is I am sitting here reading Cobens story and my phone rings. Last weekend I was at "Taste of the Beach" which is what it sounds like you go and taste different food from different Beach resturants. I had entered a raffle to win a big flat screen tv or dinner for 2 at a beachfront place. But what did I win?? 18 hole golf for 2 at a course at the beach! Its worth a few bucks I am told.
