Hey there sweetie, I know that as I post this it isn't quite 21 days where you are, but I just had to post this before I go AWOL for a week or so.. Have family visiting so won't be online much but I will be checking my emails dauly (if you need me drop me a line). I just wanted to say a HUGE well done to you on reaching this milestone.. I am so very proud of you as, I am sure, are your darling Husband and fantastic kids... Keep it up sweetie, you know that you are worth it... Krissie

Thanks Krissy, sweety. I really appreciate you thinking of me like this! Hmmm.. distractions. Well, I've already told this story, but I guess I can tell it again. I joined an online group for getting your home and life and mind and body decluttered and organised. I basically stay busy then. I have just recently formed new routines and choors and things that I do on certain days, so it was a good time to quit smoking. Everything had changed anyhow, and I was busy. The main goal of this proram is "Finally Love Yourself". This has been soemthing that has gotten me through some tough times. I tend to play the martyr role a lot in my life, and stopping to remind myself that I deserve to be smoke free, addiction free, smelling good with pretty teeth is what has gotten me through those wildly immature moments where I wanna give up because my husband didn't congratulate me on a milestone. I'm not doing this for the congratulations.. and beleive it or not, that's a hard concept for me to remember. This program is teaching me how, and has been such a huge blessing in my life, that I couldn't even express it enough. I think that another big thing that's helped me through the tough spots was my giving myself permission to gain a few pounds during the first few weeks, and then looking foreward to enjoying a lot of exciting and tasty foods with my new ability to taste it. Food has been the reward that I use the most, and I enjoy it a bunch. It's starting to not be as exciting as it was in the beggining, so i'll probably go back to doing my weight watchers then soon. The other reward that i've been using is flowers, and good smelling stuff. My husband got me a dozen roses, but when he doesn't think to get any for me, I get my own. I get the most colorful, and the SMELLIEST flowers that I can get! I've also used my esential oils, and put them on the air intake filters for the air conditioning, and such. I use ones that are known to help you relax, and have even put a few drops on my pillow. I guess that I have been treeting the senses that were dulled with smoking! It's a reward and a distraction all in one. My sense of touch is also very very hightened in my hands, feet, face, and other extremeties. I guess 3 packs a day does a number
