Well this is sort of depressing, considering there were 70 or so at one time.... :( Probably more likely that, unlike me, many have better things to do than sit behind a computer!!!! :eg: I don't know why I like this quote, but here it is:
"Insignificant events can take on monumental proportions when your head is full of practically nothing" -Grace Slick
Seems to fit my emotional state as of late! I am still here and still loving NOT smoking !!! Just got back from a reward Scuba Diving trip to Egypt :-) It was an interesting trip - first time I had not smoked when I was diving and most of the other divers smoked. Then you also have the water pipe at social events ..... I stayed strong and did not smoke. phoenix (Rob - love that quote of yours) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/24/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 147 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,411 Amount Saved: 1102.5 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 1 Mins: 27 Seconds: 30

I am still here, struggling some days but most of the time I enjoy my new freedom. Still very proud to be a "Knight of the Empty Ashtray" member. Island Girl reporting for duty! I am still here and still not smoking! In fact, I was telling someone today that those days seem very far away. I am very proud to be a Knight of the Empty Ashtray and I am very proud to be in this group of supportive, encouraging folks that have run, walked, limped, and run again on this bumpy emotional ride we call life without a smoke. I feel better than I have in a long time. My friends and family couldn't be more proud. I have rewarded myself over and over again - big things, little things, and things inbetween. I have learned more about myself than I ever thought possible. I have learned to lean on other things beside a cig, I have learned how to deal with stress in a different way. I have learned to party in a different way and I am having to learn to love my husband in a totally different way. I am learning to be more patient with him in his inability to quit. Not smoking has literally changed my life and I'm loving it. Thanks to my all fellow Knights - you are awesome!
