Good morning Duffis

It seems the new quitters are mindless and without any direction, just pure panic of the quit over riding their good senses.

Oh how I remember being there. It was a time of loneliness and darkness. A time of insanity. The overwhelming emotions and withdrawal.
I'm not an elder :p per your definition Duffis but I think just as with our children, we need to be patient. Lend a guiding hand when we can and step back when we need to. The quit process is so personal to everyone. Someone told me long ago that the hardest part of parenting is knowing when not to parent. Maybe the hardest part of being an elder is knowing when not to be an elder ?????
Just a thought...... *hey, since I'm here anyway, can I stay for a round of golf? :)
