Very commendable Jacko! I think this will help you in the long run to keep honest with your quit! Glad to see that you didn't slip again. I was thinking that too! Whew! Crave the Quit! Hi Jacko, Would you be so kind and reply to my post about the book I am writing. It would mean a lot to me when you write about your quiting. What was for you the easiest and what was the hardest part? Hi Guys, As you may be all aware, I slipped in Turkey for 4 days. I decided to take 4 days off my quit meter, which at the time, thought was fair. But now I`ve decided to completely reset my clock. Even tho` my clock was correct minus the 4 days, but I feel a quit "timer" is from the last puff. I was not celebrating day 26,27 etc...In my mind I was celebrating day 2,3, and 4. So that is that. I still have nearly 300 in my bank what Ive saved so that is a nice start eh? I can do this now- I`m in a good frame of mind to get this 1st week out of the way and forget about the past. Thankyou All for just being Here!! Hi Jacko, i did that too! I had a slip too and i thought that since i counted again from day one it would be better to reset the counter. We've still saved money and the most important is that we are still here.... take care and stay close hug Kate from Greece My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/3/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 25 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 252 Amount Saved: 75 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 19 Mins: 3 Seconds: 2
