Thank you, thank you for all your kind replies! We are going to Memphis tomorrow for the day, will probably eat on Beale Street at a blues club---non-smoking section, of course. Several times today i thought..."Wow, 60 days, I think I'll smoke just one." I didn't, but I can't understand WHY i would even think that!?

Had a good time in Memphis. The battle is getting easier as my confidence in beating this addiction grows stronger. Today my husband went down to the 7 mg patch, however, since I still don't trust myself completely, I'm sticking with the 14 for another week. I am not sure why, but lately I have been exhausted at the end of the day and I often go to bed very early. Seems I require more sleep---but that may be the heat rather than the quit. Thanks for the congrats. It means a lot since this has been the hardest task I have ever completed! I love my quit family! :)

[/quote] When you were a smoker you smoked when your were happy and when you were celebrating accomplishments. Do not let the unconscious smoking memory get to you. Just start making some happy, celebratory non-smoking memories. They are the fastest way to kicking those smoking memories right out of the picture. ... just keep rubbing those nicotine patches together ... LOL! Congrats to you and your Hursk!
