IM FINDING IT REALLY HARD!

Jan. I know you won't smoke. Those were the words of a mother who has had enough. I've said them enough myself. Ok..this is mommy and no smoking talk here.. from one mother with the generation gap in her house to another.....We have often talked of how we are too old to deal with this younger generation (even though neither of us is old) but we just have to keep doing what we know is best for them in spite of theirselves and hope and pray some of it sinks into them. When my older two were little I could take them anywhere and not worry about their behavior. Sit meant sit and no meant no. The youngest is an entirely different story. A cute, smiling, hateful, mean monster but we love him anyway. Smoking will not help a thing and you know it. I agree with Duffis - a good spanking has always helped my children, even the monster. Being the mom, doing your best to make something special for your kids, just to have someone else come along and effortlessly do it better....ouch! Been there done that and I know that hurt. Keep giving your very best. When people are unloving and unkind, love them anyway. That is all you can do. We all know that smoking will not help. Hang in there MOM...eventually they grow up and move away :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 253 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,067 Amount Saved: $885.5 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 7 Mins: 52 Seconds: 13

Jan my dad used to say "now matter where I go there I am" I often wondered about that. You stated a very strong plea:
not smokeing means nothing to me right now.
Re read this!! I can't believe that you really meant that, hell it means everything. I am too old to go along with todays child discipline. If this were me I'd be in Old Baileys cause I'd put my foot in nannys butt and blister Aimees butt with qood old fashiioned spanking, feel better and get on with my life, just don't smoke....just don't smoke......just don't smoke ups my record got stuck. You are in a very bad time of your quit. Just when you think things are in control and are getting better up pops the nicodevil and bites you. It happened to me at 5 months and it will just about happen to everyone sooner or later. Keep in mind your purpose for quitting and refocus. Things will pass and you will get through this, trust me little girl I know from where I speak. Duffis
