Stoppin.. You are doing great! Keep it up. You aren't going to smoke because it is going to be so worth it when the withdrawal is over. Here are a couple of more voices for you to ponder.... When I smoked, I wanted a cigarette all the time, now that I don't I only want one some of the time. Another... Everyday is one day closer to never feeling this way again. Congratulations on Day one. The foggy thinking goes away. Hang in there! One step at a time. Do the best you can with the work. The rest will wait. Hi, Stoppin'. My second day was the "voices in the head" day. Just one junkie thought after another, endless yack, yack, yack! At first they were just so annoying and distracting, but then I sort of stepped aside in my head and listened to them as a third party. What a riot! They were so rediculous!! "Have one, it'll make your quit easier." "Nobody cares, so light up." "You've been quit a whole day. You've earned one." "This is so easy, you can have one and quit later." Ad nauseum. Hang in there, Stoppin'. Don't forget your baggie tomorrow. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 385 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,712 Amount Saved: $1463 Life Gained: Days: 71 Hrs: 21 Mins: 21 Seconds: 25
