Thanks to all of you for the well wishes...I want to find a mantra about having a positive attitude and make it mine. To Cuddles: I even added your mantra to my document...It is so true...I am always obsessed with thoughts of quitting.

Last year I quit smoking...last year I started smoking. There are 3 things that happened during that journey. First of all the day after I quit, someone very close to me quit and all of a sudden I had to share my misery. I wasn't the only one being praised and I found that really bothered me. Then the second discovery...I can see into the future! I saw myself moping around annual events we attend without cigarettes and not having any fun. I could see myself being miserable for the rest of my life. And then finally, I learned that I am great at coming up with reasons to quit quitting! Wow, what a sucker I was. But, I have spent the last 2 weeks getting my smokes in a row and am ready to battle again. I have created a document of excerpts from many different articles, posts, and thoughts from myself. The document is now 12 pages long. From the moment I quit I have promised myself that I will read that entire document the minute I feel threatened. I have all sorts of physical and mental exercises outlined, as well. This is it. June 11th is my official quit date. Be prepared for one heck of a positive attitude because I will not be a sissy la-la whiney baby!

Stoppin, You rock! You do have a great attitude and that will definitely get you through the tough times. My only thought is that if by some small chance you should feel like being a sissy la-la whiney baby along the way...we'll be here for that too. ;) Cheers to your new life!
