Hi ldybug - There is a ton of information on this site - its all said here, so read and read some more. Determination, focus, do the program on the left side of this site, make a list of why you are leaving this addiction behind, and very important=make plans for the tough times... You can do this, we can help, and after a long day, it is you who will walk the Quit journey... It will work the day you want to stop smoking MORE than you want to light up. Good luck, don't be afraid, if I can do it then so can you. Don't forget, just take it hour by hour to begin with and come on here as often as you can for help and support.
