Just to know that you were there and we weren't alone. You are a Smober and that makes you special Cori! ;) Congraultations on being the first Smober to hit one year! I am so proud of you!!!!!! Now then, what are you and the hubby doing to celebrate? First of all I want to say I am proud to be a Smober . Ladywith the heart of gold thank you for all your encouragement I admire you although I did not whine that much here its only because I had a quit buddy at home that I put through **** and he has also made it one year!!! Shevie I am so glad that I took this journey with you and have learned a lot from your post I bet you can laugh now without breaking into a cough! And I so related to you when you said you had been on the couch in the fetal position that one weekend. Butterfly Swimmer keep up the good work I have watched you struggle and it was watching you that I knew that I could not take one puff I have learned a lot from your post. Thank you Flatlander you too will soon be here. Mr. Ed your post makes me laugh especially about the patch attaching it self to your wife. Riverdale Man your post are always awesome and thanks for the boogie song I love to boogie on land or water! To all of you newbies thank you for reminding me that I would not want to start over hang in there it really does get easier. My first few days/weeks of smoking were very difficult. I was thinking about smoking constantly I could not sit still I was in deep deep conflict. My mind was playing every game it could at me to get me to smoke. It was on heck of a struggle. Now, I get cravings much less often they only last a moment or two and then they pass. I hardly need to think about whether or not to smoke. Heck I am more proud of my quit than giving birth! Dont get wrong I love my two teenage sons :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 365 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,313 Amount Saved: $1642.5 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 14 Mins: 35 Seconds: 17

Congratulations Peanut!!!!!! Your story of when your husband told you that after 6 months, you could smoke and how you stuck it out, even though you really didn't want to was such an inspiration to me. Congratulations on reaching one whole year!!!!! That is truly amazing! Crave the Quit!
