1 year today and Thanks to all

Well, I made it... One year today! 365 days without one puff, I've been tempted, but I know one puff and I'll be back to my old lifestyle. While I don't post often, hardley at all in fact, I just wanted to say Thank you to everyone who does. Making it a week was a great accomplishment, watching my meter count my days first to 30, then 100 and going to the beach, now here I am today at 1 year smoke free. I thank you all for each question posted, each word of encouragement you typed to other, as I found the help and support I've needed to help me win my struggle to control and beat back the nicotine monster. I can't say the road to 365 has been easy, but my health is better, I play with my kids more (no more waiting for Mom to finish that smoke). So to all of you who take the time to post and encourage, I say Thanks once more, the time you take to answer questions and encourage others and offer prayers means alot even to those of us who lurk in the shadows. Thank you all for the well wishes. One of the things I did to reward myself was instead of buying my 2 cartons of cigs every 2 weeks, my neice and I go for pedicures every two weeks. Things that have helped me stay successful. Reminders of why I wanted to quit. My Kids, I promised them I would stop smoking, I have never made a promise to the kids that I have broken, I didn't want this to be the first one, now the kids are 8 and 5, but still, I don't make promises easily. My health, which has improved greatly in the last year. My Husband who is supportive with whatever I am doing. Also, one of the most helpful things was this website. I found such inspiration from here, just knowing I could logon and read and find comfort, support, advice and someone else feeling the way I was feeling. If I was having a bad day or I was tempted. Here was were I looked for support. This year hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it. Again, I thank you all.
