Hi, Alexa. This isn't a test of your willpower, nor is it because this is your first quit. Sounds to me like, not only are you in the 30-day slump, but you haven't been rewarding yourself enough either. Maintaining a quit for 30 days is truly an awesome accomplishment. So many people never get this far. You should take a day just for you. Go do something(s) nice for you; whatever makes you happy. Rewards don't have to cost much. In fact, some of the best cost nothing at all. Be a queen for one day, Alexa. You've earned it. Congratulations. This seems to happen to allot of us around the 30 day quit. Maybe the newness of the quit is wearing off or whatever it may be. Stay strong and use your skills to keep them at bay, they will pass again. Drink lots of water and take deep breaths. Read and post, you will find you are not alone in this. Check out the weight loss thread here, theres allot of us there trying to lose weight and the support is awesome. Its called the daily diet watch IV By all means, whine all you want, you have been through allot this month and have earned the right to whine. Congratulations on your 25 days quit. Alexa, the chemicals in cigarettes actually burned 200 calories a day. So you have to burn at least that much extra now. Try kicking your exercise up a notch, change out your routine...sometimes that helps get you off the mark. These little crave episodes will not last forever. But I sure hope that they aren't as bad as the first few days. Keep your chin up, remember your coping mechanisms, and focus on the positive aspects of your quit. Good luck!
